  • 8/5/2010 - Anti-Human Trafficking Press Event

    The American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office (AIT/K) and the Kaohsiung City Government will be co-hosting a press event on August 5, 2010, at 10:30 am, to highlight the critical role that local governments and organizations play in our ongoing fight to turn the tide against human trafficking wherever it may occur. The press event will feature remarks by Kaohsiung City Mayor Chen Chu, AIT/Kaohsiung Branch Chief Chris Castro and noted television personality Janet Hsieh, who has agreed to serve as AIT/Ks first Honorary Anti-Human Trafficking Celebrity Ambassador. The highly-regarded Kaohsiung City Childrens Choir will also offer a performance in recognition of this event.
