AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office Chief Conducts Radio Interview

On November 3, AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office Chief Gary Oba conducted an interview with Kaohsiung-based Happy Radio.  During the interview, Oba praised the hospitality of the Taiwanese people, and noted that the quality of life in southern Taiwan continues to improve.  Oba also noted that he was happy to have the chance to return to Kaohsiung and visit beautiful places in southern Taiwan, adding that he had visited Taitung, Penghu and Xiaoliuqiu over the past two weeks.  Oba also elaborated on AIT’s services and its interactions with Taiwan, including American citizen services, commercial, cultural and education exchanges, cooperation on clean energy issue, and military-to-military cooperation on disaster rescue and relief.
