AIT/K Interns Share College Experiences with Local High School Students

On June 17, AIT/K’s summer interns conducted a one-hour presentation on U.S. college life to about 300 students from Kaohsiung Girls Senior High School, one of Kaohsiung’s top high schools.  Using PowerPoint presentations to introduce their respective universities, they elaborated on the process of choosing a major, extracurricular activities and student clubs and organizations.  A lively discussion followed the presentation, with a host of local students asking questions in English about U.S. campus culture.  AIT/K and the school’s student counseling center co-sponsored this well-received event.
