U.S. Beef Menu Promotion at Five-Star Hotel in Kaohsiung

On June 30, AIT Kaohsiung Branch Chief Chris Castro attended the “We Love U.S. Beef Festival” press conference held at Kaohsiung’s five-star Grand Hi Lai Hotel to promote U.S. beef products.  Chef Billy Young from Unilever Hong Kong Limited was invited to demonstrate his award-winning beef recipes at the press conference using prime U.S. fillet and rib eye.  In his remarks, Branch Chief Castro thanked the Grand Hi Lai Hotel for sponsoring a one-month long U.S. beef menu promotion in July, a significant month for Americans because it included the U.S.’s July 4th holiday.  Branch Chief also encouraged the media in attendance to spread the word about the Grand Hi-Lai U.S. Beef Festival so that more local consumers would have the chance to enjoy high-quality U.S. beef.  Reporters from more than a dozen print media and four TV stations attended the press conference.
