AIT/K’s Fourth of July Reception in Tainan: On July 1, AIT Director Stanton hosted AIT/K’s Fourth of July reception at the

Tayih Landis Hotel in Tainan, which attracted close to 400 participants and widespread local media coverage.  In his keynote

remarks, Director Stanton lauded southern Taiwan’s contribution to Taiwan’s democracy and economic development and cited

several examples of Tainan’s own contribution to building strong U.S.-Taiwan ties.
