AIT Kaohsiung Office Presents Series of American Pop Culture-related English Lessons

On October 12, AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office Chief Gary Oba chaired a well-attended press conference to introduce a series of 15 mini American pop culture-related English lessons that will be broadcast in the Kaohsiung MRT stations as a public service, starting on October 18. At the press conference, Kaohsiung Education Bureau Director General Tsai Ching-hua said that KMRT riders will benefit from this public service as it provides an informal English learning tool. The lessons were organized and produced by AIT/K in cooperation with the Kaohsiung City Education Bureau. Support was provided by National Sun Yat-sen University, Chilin Technology Company Limited, Pilot TV, Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Company, and G3 Audio & Video Propagates Company Limited. After the first clip is shown on KMRT stations, AIT/K will post the clip to its website.
